You just bought or sold tickets on Theatr! Now, how should the tickets be transferred?
Different ticket platforms deliver tickets in various formats and at different times, which affects how and when you can transfer them. Refer to the chart below for a smooth ticket transfer.

| ATG Tickets | ATG usually emails the PDF tickets about 2 days before the show. The tickets can be transferred as PDFs or as screenshots of the PDFs. |
| Broadway Direct | Broadway Direct tickets can be transferred as screenshots of the ticket barcodes. |
| Transfer through Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass is also an option but only for Apple to Apple or Android to Android transfers. Remember to make sure that you are both using the same digital wallet before attempting to transfer as a digital wallet pass. | |
| Broadway.com | Broadway.com tickets can be transferred as screenshots of the ticket barcodes. |

| SeatGeek | SeatGeek tickets must be transferred within the SeatGeek platform. The seller can input the buyer’s contact information in the SeatGeek app to transfer the tickets. |
| StubHub | Most StubHub tickets can be transferred as E-file (PDF) tickets, which can be transferred as PDFs or screenshots of the PDFs. |
| Depending on the event, there may be instances where tickets will be Mobile Tickets and can only be viewed and transferred within the StubHub app. | |
| In those cases, please transfer the tickets in the app (this is more likely for concerts and other non-Broadway events). | |
| Telecharge | Telecharge usually emails the PDF tickets within 3 days of the show. The tickets can be transferred as PDFs or as screenshots of the PDFs. (Note that Telecharge barcodes may sometimes look a little fuzzy but this is nothing to worry about.) |
| Ticketmaster | Ticketmaster tickets can be transferred either within the Ticketmaster app or by screenshotting the barcode (most Broadway tickets will not be transferable within Ticketmaster and must be transferred as screenshots). |
| You can tell if tickets are not transferable in the app if the Transfer button is grayed out. If transfer within the app is possible, please transfer the tickets in that way. If not, a screenshot of the barcode will work. | |
| TodayTix | Barcodes will become available in the TodayTix app 24 hours before the show. TodayTix tickets can be transferred as screenshots of the ticket barcodes. (Note that barcodes may sometimes look a little fuzzy but this is nothing to worry about.) |

Some theaters will have PDF tickets, in which case tickets can be transferred as PDFs or as screenshots of the PDFs, and some will require transfer within their platform. Be sure to follow the rules of the original ticket platform. |
| Other | If the ticket source is not mentioned above, refer to the official sites for transfer instructions. |
If the tickets are physical and for box office pickup, we recommend arranging an in-person handoff outside of the venue or at a convenient location for both parties. Or, if the box office allows it, you can call the box office to change the name the tickets are held under to the buyer’s name.
